David Chaum’s IP holding company granted an exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use all related patents that involve creating and deploying software for blockchain consensus, value transfer, and private communications on the xx network. The intent of this licensing is to provide clear ownership and protection to the technology on which xx network is built.
