Why do you want to be a node? Good friend in Netherlands runs multiple XX nodes, there are less in Asia so we want to participate and set one up here
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Word of Mouth
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
    • Twitter
    • LinkedIn
Are you an active member of those communities? Yes
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? linear scaling, quick settlement, reputable founders, seems that the network is quite secure, group signatures vs. pairwise signatures
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones?
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? Asia Crypto Week
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:

Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralised means that a decision is made across various nodes. Each node decides its behaviour, which ultimately affects the system’s behaviour. This ensures that no single node has complete system information. In a distributed system, all parts of the system are located in different physical locations. The processing is spread across multiple nodes, but decision making can be centralised or decentralised. Various nodes can communicate and coordinate by passing messages. Distributed blockchain systems are more secure as the system is spread across various nodes. A great example of a distributed system is AWS or cloud instances. Instead of data being stored in one single point, it is spread across various points across the server. Even if one node fails in these networks, it will not affect the entire system. Given the world is always evolving and developing and adoption of crypto isn't fully embraced the best combination is to take on a hybrid approach and assess the level of decentralization needed as time progresses.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Less susceptible to corruption. Power to the people.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems?

Hes a good friend of my mine. I can without doubt advise to include this guy into the network.

Build Your Node make sure you get an other processor capable of 15,5k points in Passmark.

Also try to answer everything. Gives people the idea you do your best.

    Huge apologies!

Accidentally pressed submit instead of back when I was trying to answer the rest of the questions.

I’ll try answer the rest here.

In terms of the value proposition for the xx network platform, it’s really about the security and fairness for the community. There have multiple hacks in the crypto area the past few months which scare people away and having true security is extremely important. Market manupilation is also another big topic and with that said, the fairness is another crucial factor in order to maintain a happy community on the xx network.

As for quantum computer risks, Quantum computers can break current public key encryption. These devices are commercially available, and code-breaking versions are close behind it. Centralized systems make it an easy target in this day and age since it’s just a HUGE target. Decentralized is much more secure in the sense where it will take them a long time to fully penetrate the defence.

Hope I can be an add value member to XX network!
