| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | I consider that a good balance between a peer controlled environment and clear principles must be developed and always strived for, decentralization is important in securing the freedom of speech and economical activity. Decentralized would be like an system in which the agents interactions may or may not be related and consequential one to another. Distributed would look more like a tree, in which there are different branches yet the trunk remains the single point of failure for the branches and the roots. |
