| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | A decentralized network is open and free to all. Anyone can check their transactions there to verify their authenticity. Also, anyone can become a member if he owns a certain amount of network coins. A decentralized network cannot be compromised and there is no single point of failure because every corner member has a copy of the network. A decentralized network is much more secure than many, not only because of the different protocols but also because of the large number of nodes. In distributed networks, the software, and its data are spread out across more than one computer/node. But the difference is that these computers/nodes depend on the center and do not make independent decisions. |
| As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. | It seems to me that xx network is a whole ideology, in a good sense of the word. David Chaum has a very inspiring speech on the subject. This platform is a real guardian of privacy and securitization. And I think that its main value lies not even in the blockchain, but in the xx messenger. I think so, because many people have tried to create a variety of blockchains that solve some of the few problems of our lives and this sphere, but David is the first to think about the secure transmission of information in everyday life. |

In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? | Failure to control our personal data will lead us to the abyss or to revolutions. Countries, cities will no longer be able to develop normally and follow technological progress. Where there is control of personal data, there is control of our whole life. |
| In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? | That the era of quantum computing could significantly harm many platforms and networks I do not consider paranoid. Quantum technology is a great force with which great responsibility will come. Given the human element, one cannot argue that these computers will not be used to decrypt data on networks. |
