Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? decentralized network is a special case of a distributed network with additional restrictions: peer-to-peer nodes and each node is a local center that affects only itself.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. The most private messaging and payments
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? All people born free, but nowadays privacy is under threat. Changes will come with new era of internet
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? In decentralized systems, in order to redirect a transaction, it is necessary to influence all blocks, and this is impossible without confirmation of many users. It turns out that at the level of data immutability, the blockchain is reliably protected from quantum computing. Only the user's wallet can be problematic and vulnerable. In the future, the power of a quantum computer may be enough to crack 64-digit private keys. Centralized systems wil be under threat.

Greetings, my name is Andrey and this is my submission.
I want make some corrections, I will keep the node close to 100% uptime. It was a typo, that I mentioned 50. I meant 50 hours a month to dedicate as node operator.

To build the node, I will use only new parts with 3-years guarantee. Here is my hardware specification:
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
GPU- ASUS nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, 8GB, GDDR6
    Motherboard - AsRock B450 Pro4
    SSD - Samsung 970 PRO SSD 1TB - M.2
    RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3600Mhz

I will run the node in Silvertelecom datacenter (local Internet provider), where bandwidth is 1000+ Mbps and electricity supply is very stable.
I will run gateway in a separate physical device on a different IP address.
Elixxir is a great project and I am excited to be part of the xx network.
Hope to make it through and be selected to run in December. Thanks for support.
