Feel free to do it or not, but would be nice to have the additional questions answered.

I haven’t found a way to edit my original post, so I’m pasting my answers here:

    1. If your server is located in your personal home, please specify the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

    1. Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:

    No

    1. What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit?

Decentralized networks don’t have a central hub which could be controlled by one person or an organization. If this hub goes offline, it affects the whole network. The network can selfrestore by selecting other nodes instead of failed ones. A distributed network is just a network which spans across multiple locations.
I’m trying to be a peer in a decentralized network. A full node.

    1. As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions.

XX network offers great scalability, low latency, fault tolarance, security, decentralization.

    1. Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet?

The Internet has always been a more secure place than a real life. And it will be like that no matter what efforts governments apply, trying to control every person online.

    1. In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems?

Due to a potentially huge compute power, quantum computers could be used to brute force passwords and other security keys. This could lead to security issues.

    1. Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below:

    Extra 32GB RAM

    Turing GPU Requirement
The xx network BetaNet requires a Nvidia Turing GPU due to upgrades to the microarchitecture of the shaders granting an order of magnitude increase in performance for the specific workloads used. The mul units have been increased to 32 bits, which greatly increases the speed of the modular exponentiation and modular multiplication which are some of the core cryptographic operations of the cMix protocol.

See the Beta Node Handbook page 3-4 for specs.

I’m planning to get the required GPU till the end of the month.
