Importing backup file failed

Hi - quick question please - need help … i have bought xxcoins a very long time ago (right at the start of the project) … i now started the web wallet and wanted to import my backed up json file but i get an error ‘Invalid format: File content should be an array’ … any help very much welcome … is there a way to recover my coins by importing my seed phrase ? Thanks in advance

The error occurs because Polkadot-JS now expects account backup files in array format [{…}] rather than the older single-object format {…}. The fix is straightforward: wrap your JSON content in square brackets. old way: {"address":"5GrwvaEF...","encoded":"0x...","encoding":{...},"meta":{...}} new way: [{"address":"5GrwvaEF...","encoded":"0x...","encoding":{...},"meta":{...}}] i.e. Add [ at the very beginning of the file Add ] at the very end of the file Save the file
