How are xx foundation board members compensated?

Board members are not compensated for being on the board of the xx foundation. Membership on the board is a position of trust to disburse foundation funds, and board members are not required to be operational. Board members who are also operational may be compensated for their work in that capacity. More information on the foundation is included below.

Board

The xx Foundation board is currently made up of 4 directors. One is an original node runner and community leader who joined the Foundation. One is an expert in DAO and crypto legal compliance. One is a core software developer for the xx network and one is an expert in corporate structuring and management.

Charter

The xx Foundation is a Cayman foundation company legally chartered to focus on supporting and marketing the xx network through backing community efforts in holding physical and virtual events, dApp development, competitions, research, hackathons and partnerships.

xx Governance

Control of the core software that is run by xx nodes and that underpins the xx network is vested in xx onchain governance that is ultimately controlled by and voted on by xx coinholders. The xx Foundation is a support organization as laid out in its charter.

Don’t members registered as Foundation Board members also receive compensation in XX coins?
Every month, on-chain data shows that many unknown people are receiving it periodically.

Those are either operational spends or are unrelated and being misattributed to the foundation.

I don’t remember well, but in the past, Robbie or Foundation Director Well admitted that TG received coins from the Foundation periodically. I saw it when someone on tg took issue with the Foundation Director selling periodically.
At that time, the transaction address was also on tg, but I don’t remember well.
I’m not trying to point out the problem, but isn’t this post wrong compared to the past?

Both Robbie and Cryptowell have had operational positions in the past. Robbie is not a foundation board member. That is not related to being on the foundation board.

Obviously people are allowed to do what they want with their coins after they are unlocked.

IIRC that whole controversy involved Aaron trying to pay a vendor. :man_facepalming:
