Now I've got a brand-new machine that's working fine, but I need to reapply. I'll write the same things I wrote in my original application a few months ago. I don't see potential setbacks preventing me from operating a node: internet connection through optic fiber is good, equipment is ready and, moreover, I know people who are currently running xx nodes in Chile who could support me in case I needed. |

| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | Distributed networks eliminate centralization and have no point isolated nor dependent of another single point to connect it with the rest of the network. Decentralized networks have multiple “central points” or nodes, each of which connects other peripheral points of the network. I lean more towards distributed networks depending on the context. |

What about centralized systems? | I understand that quantum computers have by far a greater processing power than traditional computers, and therefore they will be able to break the security of current cryptography. Centralized systems are even more vulnerable, with single point of failure/compromise (but it doesn't mean that all distributed systems are quantum secure –that's why XX has such a huge potential). |

It seems to me that the specs of the hardware are written very vaguely. Could you indicate them more clearly? Then I’ll vote.

Sorry to hear from your previous node. There are indeed some node operators from Chile. Be sure that your bandwidth is sufficient please. Because the stats from the other operators in Chile are not that great.

Thank you @Robbie84. I’ve discussed it with some of the people here, and I’ve already hire the best alternative in the market. There won’t be any problem related. I’ve hired a 940 Mbps download / 400 Mbps upload fiber-optic internet plan, which will be used only for this purpose. I’ve already configured “dynamic IP address with dynamic DNS” for both machines as suggested in the Hardware Requirements section of the XX wiki.
