As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. 2-3
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? distribution has do to with location, however, the governance of such networks could be totally centralised. Decentralisation refers to an alternative governance model where no central authority controls the network. It is often the case that nodes that participate to a decentralised network as also distributed. I am a supporter of decentralized networks towards building democratic and equal participation networks.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. It is all about creating a new medium of data sharing, a protected digital layer where users share data and exchange value in a secure and private manner with the use of advanced cryptographic techniques. The only network that is quantum resistant by nature.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Once quantum computers go massive, the world as we know it is going to change. Unfortunately the current internet layer is not ready. We will experience massive exposures of private data at a scale we cannot even imagine. I would like to support the xx movement so that we are ready when quantum machines hit the road.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? elliptic curve cryptography is breakable, thus exposing all the data embedded in to them. On another note, Quantum machines will be able to find solutions quickly, potentially enabling few powerful users to monopolize decentralized networks. For centralized systems are single point of failures, we will see most of the Internet layer down.
