What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? I am particularly interested in the concept of sample voting and the overall approach to network governance. The weight of each voter's vote will be high, so they will feel more responsible for their decisions. This adds value to the network.
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones? Solana
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? No
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:

Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To protect the privacy of political speech
    • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
    • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
    • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized systems are highly democratic by design. Anyone can become a participant in such a system, and his or her voice will carry weight. In addition, decentralization improves the speed and flexibility of the system. Distributed systems also have their advantages, but are most often based on the fact that there is a single centre that manages everything.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. The creation of true digital cash, which would help support decentralization. At the moment, other blockchains are built around mechanisms that can lead to the consolidation of power, such as concentrated token distributions. This's detrimental to their original concept. Also, the xx Network platform is unique because it has quantum resistance. It gives us the right to consider it a fully secure digital space.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Because all users will become "slaves" to those who can control their personal information. And there will be many such people and corporations, as their power will increase manifold.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? Centralized networks will definitely be the first to suffer, as all data is unevenly distributed and only the central computer has full access. It would only be enough to hack into it. As for decentralized systems... I don't know. There is potentially a danger, as not all of them have quantum resistant. However, it would take a lot of energy for a quantum computer to hack into a decentralized network. We still have to figure out where to get it.
