Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To protect the privacy of political speech
    • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
    • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized means that there is no single point where the decision is made, Distributed means that the processing is shared across multiple nodes, but the decisions may still be centralized and use complete system knowledge. I go with Direct Democracy.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. xx network is implementing blockchain technology and encryption which obscures metadata to offer a truly private, decentralized messaging and payment platform. This means that with xx network technology, there is no way for any third party -- including governments or tech companies or even the network itself -- to see information about the sender or recipient(s) of communications or payments.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Because it's our privacy and non-negotiable. Ridiculous!
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? the demise of currently used cryptography in general and protects all information and data from manipulation and tracking. someone with an operational quantum computer who has your public key could falsify this signature, and therefore potentially spend anyone’s Bitcoins

Generally a good application and you have my support.

However, if you are selected to host a node, you will need to meet all hardware and connection bandwidth requirements:

This is not high enough, the minimum bandwidth is 100 Mbps Up & Down.

Uptime requirements for this month is 80% but this will increase as we approach mainnnet.

Most of these specs do not meet the requirements for hosting a node. You will need to get hardware that meets the minimum requirements.

Worthy is correct and has provided the specs. Meet that and I will support you.

Your geo location is great but can you upgrade your internet plan?

    Agree with the others above.

Great location! Please improve your application where necessary :slightly_smiling_face:
