Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications (found here)? I’m active game and have more than on computer: i9-9980, RTX3070, 64GB of ram, Corsair MP600 1TB.
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below:
Why do you want to be a node? When I heard about the unlinking technology, I couldn’t help but investigate, DMOR and what I found left me wanting to really participate in this project. Largely do to the privacy issues. However, the more I watch David speak the more I loved his passion for privacy and what he stands for. So I want to be able to participate and contribute to what I think is a great project.
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Word of Mouth

    • Twitter
    • Telegram
    • Discord
Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? The privacy, the speed of data transfer, the ability to grow the network with little resistance and its seems that there is a good community involvement.
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones? No I am not. This would be the first.
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? No

As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. I’m not totally sure but it would depend on whats involved or required.
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? No
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
      • To protect the privacy of political speech
      • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
      • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
      • To earn xx coins
      • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
      • To contribute to a promising project
      • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
      • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
      • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized is controlled and operated by many individuals spread out throughout the world. Whereas, distributed is controlled by a individual/entity or both of some sort. In turn removing the control from an individual.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. It’s the real world application opportunity that it will provide both with security and privacy. Thus, allowing individuals to have control of their data and when they choose otherwise and to what extent then want to provide it.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Under current conditions, we have little privacy left...if any. We need to get back our control of our own data and how we decide to use it and not by governments and/or corporations.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? It’s time to be prepared for this technology. Otherwise, there is a real risk of being exposed.
