What about centralized systems? | They are not a threat, there will always be more advanced encryption technologies when new technologies appear, so they only encourage the development of cryptographic encryption. |
You need at least 100mbps up and download if you run separate gateway and node you need a minimum of a rtx 2070 and I am not a fan of datacenter.
If you could guarantee that you will run at home and meet the requirements you would have my vote
That’s over spec so if you’ve another lower spec’d PC that still meets the specs in the Beta Node Handbook you can use that, all you’ll need is a GPU.
You’ll want to use one of the cards that are supported and recommended for compatibility and capability, but not necessarily by price. You will have to decide what you are willing to spend.
RTX 2070, RTX 2080, RTX 2080ti, RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2080 Super, RTX 3060ti, RTX 3070, RTX 3080, RTX 3090
I personally recommend either the RTX 2070 or the RTX 3060ti. I’ve had no problems with either of those in the NodeLab. I do not recommend any Turing GPU with specs less then a 2070 and I do not recommend the RTX 3060 12GB.

Initial application was posted a while ago, so I want to update my information about hardware:
New hardware is ordered specially for XX node:
Intel i9 10900 cpu
32Gb Ram
1tb Samsung 970 pro nvme
asus 2070 gpu

You seems to have a very good experience, and hardware is decent, though I would go for 3070 to be future proof, but I know its pretty hard to get now. You have my support.
