Why do you want to be a node? The idea of a truly private coin/messenger is very appealing in this times. I want to contribute to an awesome project with such names behind it.
How did you originally hear about the xx network? I've got a bunch of friends that are running nodes
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
    • Twitter

Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? As said above - I feel xx network is trying to address some very serious issues in our times - privacy and anonymity on the web.
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones?
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)?
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:

As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. once per month
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
    • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
    • To earn xx coins
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
    • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized networks consist of nodes taking their own decision and then the rest of the network incorporates that decision and kind of accepts it . A distributed system is one where all work is done by all of the nodes but the decision might still be taken at a higher level. My position on this - I believe in democracy and in the right to be heard
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. the XX network platform would be the only decentralized platform that could scale efficiently, thus providing the means for satisfying the ever increasing demands of our times. + true anonymity - meta data shredding.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? There is a frightening amount of data being collected everyday about every single person on the internet. And there are a lot of entities that would love to use that data for evil purposes. I believe Privacy by Default should be the norm. A future where everything and everyone is monitored sounds frightening.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? I believe the threat is mostly the same for both decentralized and centralized system. All of our secure protocols that are being used right now will not be safe when faced with quantum computers' computational power. SSL, TLS, nothing will be safe. And this will be a problem.
