For which networks have you ever operated a node?
  • Other (please specify): multiple nodes of nkn
What kind of improvements would you like to see in xx network nodes vs. previous nodes you have supported? since my experience is not great in holding nodes, I can compare with nkn, they are very light and can be run on the weakest hardware. thus they have achieved more than 20k nodes in their network. of course they don't have the privacy and speed that xx networking can provide. but small requirements make it possible to scale quite quickly.
What are potential setbacks preventing you from operating an xx network node? perhaps it will be a problem with turning off the light, but in our region this is very rare, since there is a large CHPP in the our city. if they choose me as a validator, I will definitely buy an uninterruptible power supply
What is the maximum upload bandwidth in megabits per second your node can provide? 500
What is the maximum download bandwidth in megabits per second your node can provide? 500
What is a reasonable uptime estimate you can provide for your BetaNet node? 96
Please estimate the cost of electricity in the geographic area where your BetaNet node will be running. 58
On a monthly basis, how much time can you publicly commit to dedicating toward governance if you were selected as a BetaNet node operator?` 50
In what type of environment would this server be located? Personal Home
If your server is located in your personal home, please specify the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Triolan
If your server is located in a Datacenter, please specify the name of the company hosting it.
Do you have past experience deploying hardware servers in a datacenter? No
Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications (found here)? Intel Core i9-9900/MSI Z390-A Pro/Samsung 970 EVO Plus/KFA2 GeForce® RTX 2080/HyperX DDR4 16GB 2x8GB 3200MHz Fury Black
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below: there are a couple of office computers with weak processors
Why do you want to be a node? for me this is an opportunity to try modern technologies and support one of the best and most promising blockchain networks
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Facebook
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
  • Telegram
  • Discord
  • BetaNet Forum
Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? progressive technologies, speed of transactions, privacy
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones?
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? "Kharkiv Digital"(2019), "ForkLog LIVE"(2019)
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:
As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. No
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? No
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To protect the privacy of political speech
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? A decentralized system does not have a single central repository and is more reliable. A distributed system can be targeted by attacks on one or a group of nodes. But as far as I understand, distributed systems have high bandwidth. Hybrid systems are probably best. of course I like the idea of a decentralized system more, for everything, like the Internet of Things.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. xx network uses state-of-the-art equipment to deliver meaningful results. I see this as a prospect in the future, when there will be surplus computing power. But the most interesting thing is privacy and at the same time sufficient transaction speed.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? surveillance of people becomes irreversible and we should always have the freedom to choose what to use and provide data to a third party or not. now everything goes to the fact that data leaks without our knowledge and this is becoming a big problem for law-abiding people, since delinquent people can use this information for their own bad purposes
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? quantum computers pose a threat because they can compute information that ordinary computers can compute for several hundred years. and this is really scary for humanity .. we really need systems that will be stable for their computing power, but I find it difficult to answer how to do this, since we need to go deep into this issue. I hope all be fine:)

    thanks for your vote!

Count on my vote as well, as we know each other for many other blockchain startups. Strong candidate.

    You look good.
