    • To protect the privacy of political speech
    • To earn xx coins
    • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
    • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Distributed means computation is spread across multiple nodes instead of just one. Decentralized means no node is instructing any other node as to what to do. I sit on the both of this networks
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. xx network is implementing blockchain technology and encryption which obscures metadata to offer a truly private, decentralized messaging and payment platform. This means that with xx network technology, there is no way for any third party -- including governments or tech companies or even the xx network itself -- to see information about the sender or recipient(s) of communications or payments. Rather than using PoS or PoW, the xx network uses a brand new consensus mechanism called xxBFT to achieve maximum performance. In addition, Elixxir integrates metadata shredding to ensure privacy goes beyond encryption.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? because privacy is what we worry about every day. our life and well-being envy of it. that is why it is so important for everyone.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? centralized systems such as Google, Amazon and Facebook will fade into the background when really secure sources of information storage appear through distribution.

Good app. To bad about data center.

    Another data center…no!

If it’s collocation you can always go in… grab your server and walk out.
Plus it’s Ukraine . More freedom than in Western EU.

It’s not bad imho to run a node in a data centre if it is collocated, as the applicant states, because data centres often have critical advantages over home-based solutions, especially concerning redundancy of electricity (UPS) and Internet connectivity, cooling, fire protection, and DDoS protection.

I like this application, but applicant states that he does not want to get more involved besides running a node, so I’m not supporting this application, as we at least need some support in governance at this early stage of the project.

Hi! I apologize, but there was some mistake. I am ready to take any active part, and in general, as for me, this is a super project and it is a great honor for me to take part in it.

Yes, you are right, we have several large hosting providers with colocation services in Ukraine.

Triolan is a group of telecommunications operators that provide telecommunications services in a number of Ukrainian cities. The headquarters is located in Kiev. This provider is one of the top Internet service providers in Ukraine. My relatives work in a management position and will be happy to help me place my node for them in the data center.

In another case, there are still many decent providers who can provide a colocation service.

why not. We have many providers of such services in Ukraine, such as theHost (https://thehost.ua/ua ), silvertelecom (https://www.silvertele.com/page/services), lanet and others.

Feel free to ask any questions, I am ready to answer them with pleasure.

    Has my vote. Let’s try.

    Thanks a lot!

In a datacenter is fine by me BUT:
there are requirements which is clearly stated and in the contract: YOU NEED A GPU.
So it is simple: NO GPU=NO VOTE
And if you lie about it, the network will show that you have no gpu and thus disqualified

    THINK ABOUT IT

    Thanks for your response,

sure, in my application I specify Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070.
