I’d love to have a retired detective joining the network 
The applicant also has the right motivation, stated a clear use-case (MBN micro-banking node), and reads crypto-publications (Coindesk) suggesting a deeper interest in the scene.
What I would still wish to see to support this application is the following:
- Hardware specs of the node the applicant will buy/deploy, as others have noted, including a clear commitment of installing an appropriate GPU.
- Answers to the last four questions,
- A statement that the applicant understands that he will not be compensated for running a node, given that he is based in the US.
I also like this more then the rest of applicants. They all come from ukraine or russia. Trough there own telegram group.
But still, please add some answers to the final questions and add your hardware specs.

To be honest I really didn’t think I would be picked.
Is it possible to have a telegram or some other conference call to discuss if I should actually move forward with the node project.
Congrats for the pre-selection. I’d recommend to wait until you make it through the final selection, before you proceed with your node project.
I’m not a member of the node team, so I’m not involved in the selection process. The comments you received, including mine, are all from the community, which may or may not guide the node team in their selection considerations.
