What is the maximum download bandwidth in megabits per second your node can provide? 1000
What is a reasonable uptime estimate you can provide for your BetaNet node? 100
Please estimate the cost of electricity in the geographic area where your BetaNet node will be running. cloud baremetal hoster

In what type of environment would this server be located? Datacenter
If your server is located in your personal home, please specify the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
If your server is located in a Datacenter, please specify the name of the company hosting it.
Do you have past experience deploying hardware servers in a datacenter? eth2 beaconchain prysm
Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications (found here)? Intel Xeon-E 2288G - 8c/ 16t - 3.7GHz/ 5GHz mem 32gb nvme 1tb ssd
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below:
Why do you want to be a node? interested to support the project
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Telegram
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
  • Twitter
  • Telegram
  • Discord
Are you an active member of those communities? Yes
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? performance and scalability
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones? eth2, mina

Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:
  • Meetup group management: yes
As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. 2-3
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
  • To contribute to a promising project
  • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
  • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? decentralized network is a kind of peer-to-peer distributed network, but distributed network could have control centers instead of decentralized, so I fully support the idea of decentralization
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. quantum secure hash based and capable of scaling linearly
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? because of the power that gives private user data to corporations the internet could become restricted network
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? the possible threat is to calculate the hash collision so the cryptography will need to enhance seriously to keep the existing value. For the centralized systems it could be quantum leap to the future.

You do not meet the minimum hardware requirements (Revised BetaNet Node Hardware Requirements).
Your motivation is good but we already have too much modes operating from datacenters which conflicts with the principle of real decentralization.
Do you have other options? I’m sure you can run the hardware from home in Russia

Completely agree with TGV.

No

It is not a big problem to get the necessary hardware, and run it from home, even 1Gbit throughput channels available. But I would better got the server in datacenters, there are many to choose from, even en RU, and it is more reliable than home server and no conflicts with decentralization principles, since it is not Hetzner, for example. Is the GPU really necessary at the moment, or powerful CPU could go well, what about disc IOPs?

Is gpu really necesarry??? Is that a real question

London- Russia???

A datacentre is fine but you NEED a GPU. It is clearly stated on the website (see above). Since you dont investigate your project, you do not have my vote.
If you proceed without GPU , you will not comply with the contract and thus eliminated as noderunner.

So think twice please.
