Why do you want to run a node in the xx network? To promote quantum secure distributed systems, To earn xx coins, To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world, To contribute to a promising project, To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy, Privacy in general
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Distributed means many different nodes and decentralized means nodes are operating individual and are owned by many different individuals. This way nobody is in control and the system is democratic. I think that is very important to guarantee privacy and prevent manipulation.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. Decentralization, high privacy and resistant to quantum computing. And able to process high volumes of transactions very fast.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Privacy means true freedom and trust in a system because you can depend on it without fear of manipulation or involvement of government or corporations.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? Many existing systems rely on digital signatures and cryptography to protect transactions. Quantum computing threatens this because it is able to compute possible outcomes at an unprecedented speed. Making it possible to break digital signatures.

Thanks! Would be great to be an active part of this, after joining the initial coin sale.

I’ve built an Ethereum mining rig a couple of years back which was really fun. Loved this blog post which seems like an affordable option for running a server in a data center: https://xx.network/blog/1UBetaNode

But for now, my home setup will do.
