Sadly, my application is declined. Can you point me please in the direction I need to make improvements to my application for you to consider me as a betanode operator?
It’s not a final decision, you might still have chances if you defended your application here and/or here. The fact that there were many applications from your region and that yours was cross-jurisdictional could have reduced your chances.
@diabloII Thank you for reaching out, as we mentioned in the initial decision post many of the selected nodes in the orange team were cross-jurisdictional, and when selecting we have preferred nodes run in the same jurisdiction as the operator. Additionally, there was a large number of applicants from the same region as you so, unfortunately, we have had to make some hard decisions. We have taken into consideration the completeness of the applications and the quality of the answers. What is also true is that we truly view participation in the community as one of our strongest criteria for selection so you can try to improve the quality of your application by answering some of the questions here in the comments. We will take all of this into consideration when making the final decision!
