Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? I am interested in promoting blockchain/DLT technology to explore use cases of decentralized networks in the global economy

Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? RSK Conferences Hedera Hashgraph Conferences
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience: Instructional video content: worked on video technical course development
As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. to be determined upon request (open to requests)
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? Yes
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network? To protect the privacy of political speech, To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations, To promote quantum secure distributed systems, To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world, To contribute to a promising project, To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies, To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy, To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful, Help promote xx network on a global basis
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized networks consist of peer to peer nodes that are spread out amongst local and remote networks, and all nodes have a consensus of information. (exact copy). On the other hand, Distributed networks consist of nodes that are spread out amongst local and remote networks, but all nodes are not communicating on a peer to peer basis, nor is there a consensus of information amongst all nodes.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. In my opinion, the value proposition of the xx network is the quantum secure messaging protocol; which differentiates it from other blockchains. Also, the mechanism by which metadata is encrypted or otherwise obscured, to prevent tracing of senders/receivers on the xx network, is also a differentiator of the xx network compared to other blockchains.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Privacy by default is critical for the Internet If we want the Internet to be free of control by vested interests in the future, then we need to mitigate or eliminate the following threats: 1.) the widespread use of quantum computers will. or perhaps already does, threaten all current encryption protocols used on the Internet today. 2.) there is no standards-based Identity Management framework associated with the Internet. Therefore, there is no counter-party trust I support the stated principles and mechanisms of the xx network to enable Privacy by default on the Internet of the future by mitigating/eliminating the aforementioned threats amongst other things.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? Decentralized systems are inherently different from centralized systems. And although decentralized systems are the preferred type of system for the planet

Only possible issue is with connection speed. Is it possible to upgrade it to meet the speeds in the Revised BetaNet Node Hardware Requirements?
Apart from that its a strong applciation :+1:

Hi Steve,

I can certainly upgrade the connection speed of the node I have multiple design choices at my disposal. I will check the latest Internet bandwidth requirements. It should not be an issue. Thanks.

Looks good to me and would be nice to have a node in Florida.
Decades of experience in IT is great!
