Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications? No
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below: I will purchase hardware to match specs that are required by the network if I am accepted.
Why do you want to be a node? A few reasons, one I am very much in to technology investment and this project seems very promising based on what I have read and watched. Two, I am very interested in the specific identity securing technology that could potentially produce a revolution in messaging and payments from the same application while staying anonymous and secure. To my knowledge I don't think that's been done yet.
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Word of Mouth
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? The potential of having a cell phone application that can handle private, secure, anonymous messaging along with payments. That would be incredible
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones? Not right now I'm not
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? No I haven't
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:
As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? How much content on a monthly basis? I'm open to suggestion
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? No
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
        • To protect the privacy of political speech
        • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
        • To promote quantum secure distributed systems
        • To earn xx coins
        • To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world
        • To contribute to a promising project
        • To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
        • To help build true digital cash to fuel a decentralized economy
        • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralized networks means a network which is not owned/operated by a singular entity. Distributed networks are, for example, nodes which run a network from multiple geographical locations using multiple ISP connections to keep network from being compromised by a large outage of service in any one area.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. Xx network is proposing to be the first to create an messenger/payment app that can shred meta data properly and efficiently at high speed. This is a bigger deal than most realize
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Privacy = Freedom That's about as simple as I can explain it. We need privacy
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? I'm actually not to familiar with the specifics of the issue but from what I understand, the quantum computer will be so powerful /fast at computing data/algorithms that it can potentially crack any current security protocols that are in use today. Decentralized or otherwise.

        Look good

Hello, my apologies for not answering sooner. Meeting the specs will be no problem at all. I can purchase whatever is needed and I went though the specs for main net. All good.

Right on good to see word is traveling in my neck of the woods. If you’re gonna be building a rig from spec that’s awesome and exactly what I think ppl should be doing. It’s an investment of course but a good one I would think!
