Do you have past experience deploying hardware servers in a datacenter? My friend who already runs the node or my IT guy setup servers for me in the datacenter if needed.
Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications? I will purchase the same day I be invited next spec Ryzen 7 3700x, 32gb ram, rtx 2070 super,1tb Samsung 970 pro nvme,500gb Samsung 860 evo sata and the rest that are listed in the handbook.
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below:
Why do you want to be a node? My participation will help to make the xx network more decentralized and more robust. Buying just coins as investment will not make it better than if I participate as the node runner. Running a node better supports the idea of liberal finance system.
How did you originally hear about the xx network? Referred by the friend who already participates in the xx network.
Which current xx network communities are you a member of?
  • Telegram
Are you an active member of those communities? No
What specifically, interests you about the xx network platform? What will be the cost of transaction if we have more secure and faster transaction? What are known business initiatives to deploy their solutions on the platform?
Outside of xx network communities, are you an active participant in other node or developer community groups? If so, which ones? No
Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? No
Do you have past experience managing communities or creating content to be distributed across social media? Please enter details for all with which you are comfortable or have experience:
As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? How much content on a monthly basis? No
Would you be interested in helping to lead the development of the next xx network community? No
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network
    • To protect private personal communication around health and lifestyle issues from mass surveillance and abuse by centralized organizations
    • To earn xx coins
    • To contribute to a promising project
    • To reverse the political centralization of legal, police, and military organizations which favor the wealthy and powerful
    • Other (please specify): My participation will help to make the xx network more decentralized and more robust. Buying just coins as investment will not make it better than if I participate as the node runner. Running a node better supports the idea of liberal finance system.
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Distributed systems as explained to me by my friend makes each node’s voice matter. I am supporter for fully distributed systems even it is hard to achieve 100% in reality.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. Privacy, anonymity, security, transactions speed and higher level of decentralization.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Privacy guards from exploitation and gives freedom for new ideas and activities.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? Quantum computers decipher regular algos. If no action taken to improve algos all systems are vulnerable decentralized or centralized. Decentralized are less vulnerable but for best security we need quantum resistant algos.
