Pay attention to the GPU requirements. There is a certain amount of minimal tensor cores needed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyR0ZoCeBO8 for the xx network; In my case I didn’t had the hardware upfront so I just bought the GeForce RTX 2070 recommended here https://xx.network/blog/revised-betanet-hardware but that was before this happened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucutmH2KvSQ 
You have my support first of all imho we should aim to include in our community people that know first hand the problems that blockchain technology could solve (democratic erosion, being unbanked etc)
