Do you already own sufficient hardware to meet the published xx network BetaNet Node specifications (found here)? Yes (Please list specs)
Specs I have access to different computers, some of them are meet or even above required specs
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below:
Why do you want to be a node? To be part of blockchain revolution and help elixxir team to become the top blockchain in the world!

As part of growing the xx network community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an xx network BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. Yes, how much is needed
Why do you want to run a node in the xx network? To promote quantum secure distributed systems, To earn xx coins, To help build David Chaum's vision of a decentralized world, To contribute to a promising project, To undo the centralization of the internet by big tech companies
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? Decentralization is about decentralized ownership and distributed networks is about decentralized location but ownership can be centralized. I am pro decentralization.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. xx network offers the most important thing - security (including quantum) and reliability
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Because of growing censorship in the internet from different government. I live in Russia and this is huge problem there.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? They will break current cryptography and disrupt every system that relies on sha256 cryptography

I was asked to provide additional info about where do I plan to locate my server. I work at Moscow State University and most likely I will be using its infrastructure.

trully strong candidate

What is your available bandwidth? Are you suggesting that you will be using public institutional resources for private profit? Could there be restrictions (acceptable use policy) and/or firewalls in your institution potentially preventing or hampering the necessary traffic? There’s been a case among current betanode runners.

I don’t think there will be problems with bandwidth restrictions or firewalls, never had them in my institutions. Bandwidth should be around standard 100 mbit/s. And no, I will be using private resources of my lab with approval from my superviser.

Ok, thanks for the reply. If that’s the case then you have my support.
