Without a GPU you’re not meeting the minimum spec. If you can (pg 4 of https://xx.network/beta-node-handbook-v1.5.pdf) then I would be happy to support. If you can’t then unfortunately I cannot.
I realized my mistake about the GPU, I have a 2060 video card, but it doesn’t fit the minimum specifications, so I didn’t indicate my home computer at all and chose a data center. I ordered 2070 and next week I will have it.
The specification will be the following: Ryzen 7 2700X, 32 GB RAM RTX 2070 Super, 1 TB Samsung 970 Pro NVMe

What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit?
- In decentralized networks, decisions are made by individual nodes and the overall network response is an aggregate of the nodes’ responses, and on distributed networks, connected nodes provide a unified response based on consensus. I believe there are use cases for both types of networks. By design, the most robust networks are decentralized, and that’s where I sit on a personal level.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions?
- Many current blockchain solutions are not providing a high privacy level, which could be provided by the xx network protocol, which is really attractive feature for me personally. Among other benefits, there are also fast transaction speed and scalability.
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems?
- Quantum computers will be a threat to the systems, which use asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, so quantum-safe algorithms will be needed for the secured network.
It’s good that you reconsidered, the GPU is necessary. And note that CPU-only nodes running in over-represented datacenters (such as Hetzner) are now being disabled and asked to make changes to continue operating, see here.
