| In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? | Undoubtedly, quantum computers pose a threat to both centralized and decentralized systems. I believe that the computing power of quantum computers is up to the end is not clear and people underestimate the power of these devices. Any current blockchain, like any centralized network, can be attacked by quantum computers and instead thousands of years (it would take so much time to hack today's super computers), any wallet will be hacked in a few minutes. Even if the network (eg btc) a hard fork will be made in order to protect against quantum computers, such coins will still have a narrow neck. Since old coins will also be available on the wallet or exchange, they will be available using old access keys, which is a critical vulnerability. |
