What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | decentralized networks are those governed by communities while distributed networks can be centralised or decentralised while being geographically distributed |
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the xx network platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. | well the main thing is privacy of the public key, and potential quantum resistance which attracted me to learn more and here I am |
Privacy by Default is a goal of the xx network Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? | I my opinion companies like google and facebook made fortune on selling our privacy. We basically trading it for some free services they provide. Although, services they provide are remarkably valuable, and at the time and still there are no real alternatives, however i think many people would opt for micro-payment model to maintain privacy instead. |
In your opinion, what threat, if any, do quantum computers pose toward decentralized systems? What about centralized systems? | well the threat is basically the same, the main difference is in decentralised systems there are usually no accountability, while centralised system has companies behind which can compensate potential losses (subject t t&c). |
