Is Nvidia Ampere compatible? I’m speaking about the RTX 3090.
Not yet.
when can we expect the Ampere to be supported?
Good question. Would be interesting to see results.
Ampere will not work as from my view it requires cuda 11.0 , i just downgraded my node from cuda 11.0 to cuda 10.2 because i had a lot of failed rounds.
Did the downgrade help with the failure rate?
I dont recall what version are they recommending.
Would the RTX 3070 be suitable, or best sticking with the 2070?
Your better of with either the 2070 or 2080.
I think we all are really looking forward to the support of the ampere architecture, since there are not so many 20 ** series left in warehouses
besides, 20** cards are no longer produce
Second hand market is still alive
Someone need to test Cuda11.1 and RTX 30XX. Cuda 11 seem work fine until now
rtx 3070 is not compartible yet?
It should be supported now, but cannot 100% guarantee.
it seems to be working, but I have some errors in the log

Normal as well.
