Decentralized networks have multiple centers of control and if one is down others can handle the load and have the shared nformation. Distributed networks everyone is a central figure and all information and nodes are equal. I like the idea of a decentralized network and distributed network. I like the idea of both and elixxir seems to combine both principles. |

There is no wallet. Tokens are stored on the elixxir platform and if an attack occurs ones wallet is not comprimised like what we have seen in other blockchains. users know the secret passes for each token and it changes with each user transfer. Elixxir does not store information of transactions or knowledge of data other than the hash signatures. from what I understand Elixxir using two types of functions allow for faster more secure tansactions not to mention being prepared against a quantum attack. This is a forward thinking blockchain. |
| Privacy by Default is a goal of the Elixxir Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? |
As it is ones travels through the internet world is transparent and ones personal data ( internet footprint) is not secure. Understanding the direction the internet is heading and smart networks as well and VR, AR, AI etc one has to be part of this world to exist in curent society. There should be control of ones identity and data and personal freedom. One should feel at ease in their own home and spaces but with smart phones and devices pre rigged to observe and extract information from ones existence without consent will be more and more of a reality as it is already. Plenty of science fiction to reference foreseeing this. Elixxir seems to provide an antidote for the common man against large entities and attack on freedom and privacy. If no safeguard there will be no assuarnce of safety in the web and for particpants. |
