Inbuilt node health parameters that can be polled for monitoring. |
| What are potential setbacks preventing you from operating an Elixxir node? | Australian government legislation that permits government enforcement agencies to force businesses to hand over user info and data even though it’s protected by cryptography. Even though though users of the system wiki not be able to be identified by the Elixxir system, the government may prohibit use of software which does not provide this capability! This is one of the key reasons why I feel strongly about providing Elixxir privacy services in Australia. |

| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | Decentralized networks have no central authority, the network is capable of operating with failed or hijacked individual nodes, whereas with distributed network, failures may still be tolerated as the network is distributed but could ultimately be shut down or corrupted through central control. I firmly believe decentralization and privacy are key to limiting government and mega-corporation interference with the individual. |
