What is a reasonable uptime estimate you can provide for your BetaNet node? (As a percentage) 99
Please estimate the cost of electricity in the geographic area where your BetaNet node will be running. . 13 cents standard, 8 cents at facility

Yes (Please list specs) Variety of servers hosted locally and cloud based for mining, web hosting, data hosting and security practices that can be repurposed, but may opt for new hardware.
Do you have hardware you would like to use but does not meet the stated BetaNet node specs? If so, please provide specs on that hardware below: Do you want to test on below spec hardware? I have a lot of options if so.

Have you ever attended a blockchain conference? If so, which one(s)? OSCON, BlockRally, TokenForum, Bitcoin not Bombs, NABTC, various smaller conferences.
As part of growing the Elixxir community, are you willing to create content as part of operating an Elixxir BetaNet node? Examples would be node setup & on-boarding review vlog post, bi-weekly twitter update, medium review of on-going node operational process, etc. Yes (how much content on a monthly basis?)
If yes, how much content on a monthly basis? Depends on content type, probably 10hrs worth
What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? In a classic systems architecture decentralized looks like a hub and spoke while distributed appears more like a rope net. The meanings have become a bit fuzzy in the crypto community. I opt for systems with the lowest censorship potential and highest resilience.
As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the Elixxir platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. The unique node configuration, based on cMix, uses the higher than average power nodes to “precompute” the transactional paths, sort of like building tubes to shoot the mail through, then destroys the routes and starts again, creating both exceptional speed and lasting privacy.
Privacy by Default is a goal of the Elixxir Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? Because only when we all “close our doors” is a “search warrant” needed to peek in our homes. If the default is door open, then closed door becomes a curiosity to peek in windows.
